Transfers

When purchasing a firearm online, from another retailer, dealer, or gun shop, the Law requires that firearm be shipped to an authorized dealer such as East Coast Ammo. We are on file with most larger retailers, so just select us when checking out. We lawfully receive and record that firearm into the federal record, then we contact you for a "transfer".

 

If you are buying from a site or store that does not have our FFL information you may request it HERE to be sent to them.

Once the item is here the process is simple; you schedule a time to come to our office with your valid current PA Driver License and complete the paperwork we provide. We will process the background check with the PA State Police and upon completion, you are now lawfully permitted to leave with your firearm!

We also perform this check process for person-to-person transfers, such as when you buy a firearm from a friend or family member, co-worker or local sale. The entire process is the same, except we are not receiving the shipped item, the seller brings it to the office in person, and we handle it from there with you.
